I have been a PhD student in the Group of Pulsating Variable Stars and Asteroseismology of the Department of Astronomy of Beijing Normal University since September of 2017. My main research interests are studying pulsator components (such as Delta Scuti stars) in eclipsing binaries by using Kepler light curves and LAMOST medium resolution spectra to obtain reliable absolute parameters of the binary systems and to improve theoretical understandings to such kind of pulsators.
Currently, I am studying an eclipsing binary with star spots from Kepler Photometry. Based on the light variations from star spots activity, the stellar rotation period can be determined. Combined with the physical properties, it offers us a good opportunity to understand the evolution of star spots.
